. . . hook your favorite Greater Lowell arts and /or cultural organization up with some cash.
The Next Generation Giving Circle, a group of young professionals in their 20s, 30s and 40s under the umbrella of the Greater Lowell Community Foundation is seeking nominations for three $1,000 “mini-grants” to be awarded in October.
Don’t delay! Nominations are due Tuesday Aug. 7 at 12 p.m. The form to nominate an arts and/or cultural organization is very simple and can be found at www.glcfoundation.org.
At the NGGC’s first Challenge Night on Oct. 2 at Garcia Brogan’s nominated organizations will make presentations (kind of like “Shark Tank”) and the winners will be awarded the grants.
To become one of the powerful voters, you can join the NGGC at www.glcfoundation.org, which only requires a donation of $120 per year and gives young professionals an opportunity to network, give back to the community without breaking the bank and become involved with some great local organizations.
Tickets to the Oct. 2 event are $25 (but free to NGGC members).
