It is WCAP/Salvation Army Radio-thon time again! This Saturday Dec. 8 starting at 6 a.m., Warren Shaw, Fred Simon and the crew will take to the airwaves with the ambitious goal of raising $105,000 for local families in need.
Tune in to WCAP 980AM Saturday or come on down to the party at Cappy’s Copper Kettle where there will be live entertainment from Paul Belley and the FunRazrs and others.
There will be dozens of auction items up for grabs throughout the day, a great way to give back to the community while picking up a unique Christmas gift or just a treat for yourself.
More than 600 families in Greater Lowell have requested help from the Salvation Army this year. The need is greater than ever.
