One year ago, Sweet Lydia Blanchard realized her dream — her very own storefront at which to make and sell her homemade, sinfully delicious treats (by the way, little known fact: candy has fewer calories when it is made and purchased locally).
On Wednesday night Lydia hosted a party at her shop to celebrate. Sweet Lydia’s (www.sweetlydias.com) is at 160 Merrimack Street in Downtown Lowell.
