The city of Lowell’s neighborhoods are as unique, complex and beautiful as the city itself. From the grapevines of Back Central to the estates of Belvidere, from the falls of Pawtucketville to the Amphitheater of the Acre, they all have their charms. The city has been fortunate that dedicated residents have always stepped up to lead their neighborhoods, through the good and bad times, volunteering hours of their own time to beautification projects and neighborhood meetings as well as marathon Planning Board, ZBA, License Commission and City Council meetings.
